Definition: Being stretched" generally refers to elongating or expanding something to its full length or extent. In physical exercise, stretching is a form of activity in which a specific muscle or tendon (or muscle group) is deliberately expanded and flexed to improve the muscle's felt elasticity and achieve comfortable muscle tone1. The result is a feeling of increased muscle control, flexibility, and range of motion1.
It's important to stretch correctly to avoid injury. Includes warming up before stretching, not bouncing during a stretch, holding each time for about 30 seconds, and ensuring that you pull both sides equally
Above is a definition for our physical bodies, But we are three parts: Spirit, soul, and body, and everything is parallel. What is true of the physical realm, first started in the area of the Spirit, is observed in our soulish domain.
The benefits of our physical body muscles being stretched are listed above in that definition. It is also true for our spiritual and soulish areas.
You are in this workout called Life, and GOD wants you to be STRONG in all parts of who you are, 100 in all areas of you.
You are being stretched when you go through something uncomfortable,
You are being stretched when wronged, persecuted, and mistreated.
You are being stretched when things don't go your way, how you see it, how you want it, and when you want it.
You are being stretched when you are obedient to God and do something you have never done before, which may scare you.
Who told you that you are too old?
Who told you that you are too young?
Who told you that you don't have a degree?
Who is speaking all these negatives to you?
You are being stretched when you have to forgive and let go.
In all things, thank God; he has given the Holy Spirit your trainer who makes you strong, invincible, unstoppable, mind, Spirit, soul, fine-tuned, sharpened. 1 Thessalonians, 5:18
Just be thankful. God knows with 100 accuracy what is happening in your life. His eyes are wide open to you. Give him thanks for stretching you, Making you strong, and pulling the best out of you.
So, God desires to use us and strengthen us. Just as stretching does to the muscles, God wants that in our Spirit and soulish realms. He designed us to be united, whole, and complete.
God knows how far to take you. He knows when, how, what area to strengthen, what area to rest, and which area to massage, and he will stand back and look at his finished work and is pleased.
I remembered something that happened to me yesterday while conversing with someone about the current events in our world. I was sharing how I now understood what is going on with the war in Israel and that clash that is going on, and we must continue to pray for Jerusalem Psalms 122:6 Pray and seek Jerusalem peace for all who love her will prosper. It is a biblical prophecy.
Anyway, This person took what I said, turned it around, and accused me of saying something I never said. Ugh, this was a stretching moment. It was designed to take me out of character, which I may have a little and had to repent. But after, I could see that this accusation was so ugly, dark, taken out of something so simple. It was devilish. And so, I learned from this incident. God has shown me an area in my life that needs some more stretching. He desires to get me to a place where I am strong, unstoppable, and don't even hear what someone says. Strong in mind, strong in Spirit. So, I gave thanks to God for this stretching.
Glory to the only God: He knows how far to take you. He knows when, how, what area to strengthen, what area to rest, and which area to massage, and he will stand back and look at his finished work and say. WELL DONE !!!!!!!!
In all things, give thanks. That's a great reminder to be grateful for what we have. Focusing on the good things in Life is important, even when things are tough. Sometimes, it can be hard to find things to be thankful for, but there is always something. It could be something as simple as a beautiful sunset or a warm cup of coffee on a cold day. Focusing on the good things can help us feel happier and more content with our lives.
All the Glory to God.
YOU WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
